Comment From Matt
Being a former captain yourself, what can you say about Chara's leadership qualities?
Ray Bourque: What I really like and respect about him is that he leads by example, both on and off the ice. He's a leader, he's a warrior. When your best players are also your best people, in terms of how they prepare, how they train and how hard they play, the rest of the team will follow in a good way. That's one of the reasons why the Bruins are so successful because their best players are also the players that work the hardest, that prepare and that execute.

Hey Ray, I think what you’re doing is great! I have a slightly unrelated question. I’m a college student doing a feature article for a sports writing class. I chose to write about the 2001 Stanley cup playoffs, and the only thing I’m having trouble finding is Boston’s reaction to your move to Colorado. Would you mind speaking about that aspect? Did you receive any negative responses?
Ray Bourque: For the most part, I didn't receive any negative responses. Bruins fans understood the reasons behind the move and were extremely supportive. I did receive a lot of emotional responses from fans that were sad that I left Boston. It was a real emotional time for myself and my family as well. But Bruins fans, to their credit, never stopped supporting me. Because of this and because of how I felt about Boston and the Bruins, I agreed to bring the cup back to Boston as any player would bring the cup back to their home.

Hey Ray. Those great Bruins teams in the early 90s are what got me into hockey! Behind Chara, which Bruins defenseman has made the biggest impact so far this postseason?
Ray Bourque: Dennis Seidenberg. He is probably one of the most underrated defensemen in the league. He moves the puck so well, he hits hard, he plays extremely well in all 3 zones. He was such a huge factor in last year's Stanley Cup win and he continues to be one of the best players on the ice each night.
Comment From Alex Roan
Who do you think has played the best for the bruins in this playoff series?
Ray Bourque: A lot of guys have played well. The guys that stick out in my mind are Chara, Seidenberg and I think Milan - although he hasn't scored, he's set up some huge goals.
szerintem is jó esélye van. De Backes is Datsyuk is hatalmas játékosok. A védekező játék miatt én is Backest vélem a komolyabb elllenfélnek.
Bergy nyilatkozata jól jjelemzi őt:
"I take pride in playing on both sides of the rink and doing the little details in order to help the team win as much as I can. I think this award is somewhat compensating the guys that play on both sides of the ice. But I don’t really believe in individual awards as much as team efforts. Every time you’re nominated for an award like that it’s because of your teammates and the help of all of them,"
